Collection: Broken Vessels

Transforming broken things into works of beauty is a beautiful art to imitate in our own personal lives. — Dolores Massot

The moon is not a source of light, it is a vessel of the sun’s light. In the same way, we are all vessels of something and have control of what we reflect onto one-another. Are we vessels of goodness and compassion, of love and light?

The gold designs are inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi. Built on the idea that embracing flaws and imperfections leads to a stronger and more beautiful piece. Just as the gold fill tells a story of the piece’s valuable history, the same also happens with our heart. Through healing and forgiveness, we can acknowledge our brokenness and accept the renewed version of ourselves.

The Vessels, although once broken, are now whole and each tell a story of revival while they reflect the sun’s light. “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your goodness and glorify your Father in heaven.” —Matthew 5:16 (edited)
