5x7 Fine art print on smooth cotton paper. Original watercolor on cyanotype was 5x7 and was photographed and scanned to create a digital file. Shipped in a flat envelope, frame not included.
This piece is part of the “Golden Threads” sub-theme. In the foreground you see the threads come together as if they’re doing a dance. Each thread represents people, they come together for a moment or years, and together, they create something that was not before. In this piece you see the threads emerge along the ripples of water movement. The threads come from different spaces on the paper, then intertwine as if doing a dance, and they eventually go their separate ways. We know the ripple effect to be an understanding on how one action or series of actions can exponentially affect a number of people’s lives. The golden threads follow these ripples, as if there is a central reason the threads exist.
